Forever Changed, But Not Broken.

Our organization was founded in honor of Eddie Amaan Shaheed. He was a son, uncle, grandson, friend, and sibling to three sisters and a brother. Eddie Amaan was a vibrant spirit who made a lasting impression during his brief seventeen years.

In 2005, Eddie Amaan was shot and killed. Our experience left us forever changed, but not broken.

Through the tragic loss, we recognized that gun violence leaves a long lasting impact on every member of the victim’s family—especially the brothers and sisters left behind. We know that our communal response and support shape the future of surviving siblings.

In Eddie Amaan’s memory, we are to bringing that support to young bereaved siblings.
